About RA*W

RA*W is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam that offers a platform for young talent in the Dutch creative industry to develop their careers and themselves. The creative industry can be a tough one to get into, with different aspects often remaining unknown when you’re just starting out. That’s why RA*W educates students on what the advertising industry entails and offers them a pathway into the field. The RA*W community is open to everyone.

Adopt an Intern

RA*W, VEA, Result Recruitment and Glasnost joined forces to create as many internships as possible in the Dutch creative industry. The COVID-19 crisis had made finding an internship even more difficult. We asked all agencies in the creative sector not to abandon students in these times, instead to make room for diverse, young talent.

Campaign

It all started with an open letter to the Dutch creative industry in December 2020. After a very successful campaign in February 2021, Adopt an Intern returned in September 2021 with a 2.0 version.

My responsibility in both campaigns was art direction, design of the social media posts, design & back-end of the former landing page (see image left) and design of the Toolkit for students.

My role as Board Member

During my cherished time as Board Member of We Are RA*W, I was responsible for the external communications. From social posts to newsletters, videos, presentation decks and press releases, I was honoured to help young talent move forward in the creative industry while expanding and refining my design and copywriting skills. Not to mention my own personal and professional growth, with irreplaceable soft skills made possible thanks to my time at RA*W.
