KitKat Chocolate Bars

Challenge

The goal of the campaign was to introduce the new KitKat chocolate bars to the general audience in the Netherlands. Our challenge was to do this in 5 second video ads.

Art & copy

“Chocolate with a delicious twist”

The art direction & copy was focused on the visible ‘swirls’ in the KitKat chocolate bars, which the client wanted to highlight. These swirls were magnified into chocolate flavours twisting with the second flavour, transforming into a delicious explosion.

By keeping the art and animation simple but dynamic, we were able to show all three flavour variants within 5 seconds.

The campaign was visible through TV, radio and online video ads such as YouTube pre-rolls and Instagram & Facebook Stories.
