Night’s Watch app

Back in 2014 it was a well-known frustration among the partygoers in Amsterdam to miss the night bus because the timetable wasn’t included in any public transport app.

Concept

It’s a shame when a fun night out ends in a disappointing hour-long wait for the bus. The NachtWacht app, or ‘Night’s Watch’, offers a digital solution that would have been a great addition to the Amsterdam nightlife.

Context

This project started as an educational briefing at the JUNIOR* Academy for Advertising in Amsterdam. Our challenge was to create a digital solution for a problem in our everyday life and subsequently pitch it in the preliminary rounds of the Dutch SpinAwards competition in 2015 – where we succeeded in acquiring a nomination in the Young Talent category.
